Helene grew up in Glenmaggie and Heyfield and began her accounting career at the Australian Taxation Office in Melbourne. Returning to Sale in 1978, she started her own small accounting practice from home and later moved to the office now occupied by BCS Accountants at 441 Raymond Street Sale where she has continued to use her extensive experience and knowledge in the best interests of her clients. Outside of work she loves spending time with her growing number of grandchildren.
James grew up in Sale and went through school with Julian and Glenn. He returned to Sale after living and working in Melbourne at Crown and the Australian Tax Office. James completed an Advanced Diploma of Business and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at RMIT University and has now completed his CPA. He enjoys hiking, is an active member of the SES and loves to go fishing when he gets the chance.
John was raised in Sale and commenced in public practice from home in 1992. In 2001 he joined Helene in Raymond Street to form Booth Cartledge. John has a particular interest in small business and business advice. Outside of the office he enjoys cycling and maintains an interest in fishing when the opportunity presents itself. Sadly opportunity and fish seldom fall on the same day.
Glenn grew up in Maffra and went through school with Julian and James. He completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) through Monash University in 2003 and has over fifteen years combined experience as an accountant and in local business. Glenn enjoys running, car racing and spending time with his wife and young family. You can also book Glenn's band, In Good Company for your special function.
Kristy has been with BCS Accountants for more than 18 years and works closely with Helene in covering all facets of accounting work for our clients. She is a Quickbooks and Quicken expert and can provide assistance in using and setting up these programs to meet your needs. Kristy enjoys travelling and keeping fit and in 2016 became a Mum. She is presently on Maternity Leave but plans to return in early 2017.
Julian was raised on the family farm at Maffra and attended Gippsland Grammar followed by tertiary studies at Monash University. He completed a Bachelor of Business degree in 2006 and his CPA in 2009 with outstanding results. He has over 15 years experience in taxation and small business advice. He has a particular interest in primary producers and Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Julian is an active committee member of the Sale Greyhound Club and also enjoys spending time with his wife and young family.
Kalinda grew up in Stratford and is our friendly face at the front door and can help you with all your appointment requirements or administrative questions that you might have. She comes to us with a wealth of experience having worked in a variety of local business and community organisations. In her spare time she enjoys tending to her horses and ferrying her active family around to show jumping and running competitions.
Claire grew up in Maffra and returned to Gippsland after living in Melbourne for 10 years. She plays a vital supporting role to our accounting staff and also assists Kalinda with reception when needed. Claire is an avid traveler and enjoys listening to good music and reading.
